Your first visit with your Taylor Michaels designer is a project survey. This informative consultation will help you to explore various creative possibilities. Together we discuss any structural changes, design ideas, space planning, lifestyle needs, and, of course, budget. 

Your Taylor Michaels designer will schedule an appointment to meet with you and present you with a creative design solution. This presentation will demonstrate our drafting abilities to give you a visual idea of what your new kitchen will look like through the use of a perspective drawing and a proposed floor plan. 

It’s time to select all the products that will create your newly designed space, as well as the services needed to put them in place. Choices of cabinetry, appliances, countertop, lighting fixture, paint, and flooring will be selected. We will help you coordinate colors to suit your style. Your completely detailed floor plan and cabinetry elevations are now finalized on the drafting board.

Your Taylor Michaels designer will make arrangements to secure the delivery of your customized handcrafted cabinetry.

The retainer is $4,000 for the design services. $1,000 is then applied to your cabinetry purchase from Taylor Michaels, within one year of payment of the retainer. Final plans and product selection booklets will be released to you upon signing the cabinetry agreement.
